Why become a volunteer?
Everybody will answer this question in his/her own way. Some participants are interested in exploring the World Petroleum Congress from inside and become a contributor to this milestone event. Others would like to have additional experience for their CV and improve their knowledge of English. Finally, people become volunteers to enlarge their network and find new friends. The mission of the 21st World Petroleum Congress is to organize the biggest Congress and Exhibition in Moscow and to show the whole world a new image of Russia.

Requirements
Those who would like to participate in the 21WPC volunteer program should send an e-mail to volunteers@21wpc.com. The application should contain a CV, the motivation letter (why do you want to become a volunteer at the 21WPC? How do you see your main duties? What do you expect from the Congress?), and a photo. Fluent knowledge of English is required.
The age of the volunteers is not limited. The successful candidates will be informed in a due time on the registration and travel bonuses that they will get by participating in the program. The volunteer is expected to work part-time during the Congress, fulfilling the tasks given to him/her by the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee will do a competitive selection in order to form a team of volunteers with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. A series of training and workshops under the guidance of experienced coaches will be organized for volunteers to improve their skills and knowledge. Participation in the program will allow volunteers not only to become part of the international team but also to develop the ability to accept different challenges, take responsible decisions, and work effectively in unexpected situations.
